These four Black women have an amazing range of opinions and are not afraid to discuss them with one another. Topics so far have been pretty wide-ranging and hard-hitting, from sex to mental health to Black Lives Matter and police brutality. All throughout they are intelligent and fun to listen to. This show is funny and smart!
I'm a novice in the kpop world. My mom loves BTS, I have a good friend that loves TWICE, so I'm learning through them. So I'm coming to this podcast as an outsider, and I can tell there is a lot of discussion going on that I don't know anything about! But the energy and love is there, it is palpable. You can hear the passion and joy (you can hear some of the music too, lol). It is just a lot of fun to hear about! And maybe you're already a stan and you are listening for hot takes, or maybe you've a newbie like me and you're just curious and want to learn some stuff. But wow there is a lot of absorb on a backdrop of good vibes and fun conversation.
I'm two episodes in and WOW! Listen, these are two Doctors that are coming into this conversation with a TON of knowledge and expertise. They are coming in to the conversation and providing a powerful Black perspective. There is so much to learn! Just tune in with ears open -- you'll get something out of it.So far the topics are about academia, check it out!

Mercury. Dog hair. Heroine. What do all of these things have in common? They were all used at one point in time for cures to various ailments before the advent of modern medicine. Biology student and full time dog mom Stephanie Renee takes you on small journeys through medical oddities and how they were treated in the Victorian era and present day.
DFW band Lindby brings you a musical D&D adventure following the exploits of three bards. New episode every other Tuesday!
Good variety of stories although I found them leaning towards creepiness instead of horror which I enjoyed greatly. It took me 2 days to finish this episode, because I don¡¯t enjoy listening to an episode for more than 1 hour. 2 hours is a lot; Even Hindi movies indulge us with occasional Bollywood songs through a 3-hour movie.
